ABOUT US
The Guitar Attic was born in the summer of 2002 after owner Randy Pepper who had worked for every music store in the Daytona Bch area, He had figured it was time to stop making everyone else money. Randy who once owned the The Guitar Exchange in Ormond Bch and has been dealing with used and vintage instruments since 1976 and has owned some of the holy grails through out the years. These include a 58 and 59 Gibson flying v, 59 Flametop Les Paul, 50's and 60's Fender Strats and many early 335's. He in recent years has started collecting early PRS guitars for their fine craftsmanship and tone. Randy is not just a guitar freak but also a pro guitarist who has recorded two CD's and won awards for both his playing and songwriting.
Now that you know a little about the owner now let us tell you about the store. We always try to offer a great product at fair market value and always try to offer clean used instruments that make you want to play more. So many guitars are bought and never played because they just don't play well and we try to set each guitar up to make it play as easy as possible. Being a pro musicians we can help you find the right piece to fit your needs at great a price. We carry mainly carry used guitars but from time to time will get a brand new guitar in trade and we are an authorized dealer for Breedlove Acoustics and NASH Guitars Timewarp Relics. We carry new and used amps and pedals from all the major brands. We carry new Dr Z, Genz Benz, Fargen,Valve Train, and more. Our expert guitar repair department will help you decide what pickups or setup fits your needs. One thing you won't find in our store is DJ equipment, since we don't feel that DJ's are real musicians. (Sorry guys) DJ's have taken too many jobs from bands who used to make their living in clubs that now support DJ's.
We are located in the Daytona Beach area in between Daytona and Ormond Beach on US-1 also know as Ridgewood Ave. Next time your in town for the Daytona 500 or Bike Week stop by and check us out.
