DR Z Amps At the Guitar Attic
We have many new amps on order.
| MAZ 18 JR 210 Blond We found a need for a lower powered reverb combo and created the MAZ Jr. It has more gain and distortion than its big brother. Originally designed as a "grab-and-go" Studio and small club amp, it has made its way to some of the largest stages in the country. It's perfect combination of front end and output distortion, wonderful 3D reverb clean tone, matched with the sweetest top end response and tight low end has made this our most popular selling reverb combo last year. | Z-28 112 Black. The Z-28 is a 6V6 based amp. It utilizes the format of the Route 66, that is, a EF-86 pre- amp, a unique Volume, Bass, and Treble full drive tone stack, and a tube rectified power supply. The Z-28 is rated at approximately 22 watts, so it fits under the Route 66 and the KT-45. It has a more American type tone, which some have described as Brown Tolexed Deluxe. The sweet sparkle of the 6V6 is ever present, along with a smooth full distortion at a very useable volume level. has a very tight bottom end, something that has been lacking in some 6V6 designs. Electro-Harmonix 6V6 at a reasonable 375 Volt plate level, $1499 In Stock |

What our customers say about our Dr. Z amps. This was on the Gear Page and posted by Paul D.. Thanks Paul!
I just purchased a Maz 38 2/10 no reverb. I must say I am blown away how good it sounds. I have been playing Dr z amps for about 4 years now. I have a 4/10 Z28, and a RT 66- 2/12 cab. I wanted to share what I discovered with this amp. I had a Maz 38 2/12 reverb. If anyone has a Maz 38, and wished it had a little more gain, this is your answer. For some reason the no reverb model has way more gain than the reverb model. It actually has more bottom end too. The 2/10 is smaller and 20 lb's lighter. With my Anderson Tele plugged straight in, every note just sings! I must say I loved my Maz38 reverb, but I always wished it had just a touch more gain and sustain. I also want to mention I purchased my amps from the Guitar Attic, in Holly Hill Fl. Randy is the Dr.Z dealer in Central Fl. Randy is a great guy to do buisness with. Very fair. Rare to find these days. Just wanted to share my find with everyone.
