Almost all of the features of
its bigger brother, the R55,
with 40 watts of EL34 power,
five 12AX7 preamp tubes, housed
in a extra deep open-back
enclosure and fitted with a
Celestion G12L-55 rear-mounted
speaker. Rich and fat low end,
and spongy sweet mids and highs
for an overall pleasing tone.
Like most Rivera amplifiers,
features include two fully
independent preamp channels,
each with its own distinct
voicing (British and American),
and footswitchable boosts
delivering four easy to dial-up
sounds, preamp/power amp patch
loop, and line out. This amp
sounds much bigger than its size
and is affordably priced. Get

This tradition continues in the
latest additions to our growing
family: Introducing the Rivera
Pubster and Clubster series.
Compact and lightweight, yet big
on tone, the all-tube amplifiers
in this remarkable new series
will please amateurs and pros
alike.
Paul Rivera designed the
now-collectible Super Champ® for
Fender in the early 80s, and now
the Rivera Pubster and Clubster
series delivers the tone and
versatility that will create new
legends in the 21st Century.
The Pubster and Clubster are
both available with 25 watts of
6V6GT power and a 10" Rivera
Vintage Gold speaker, or with 45
watts of EL-34 power through a
12" Rivera Celestion Vintage
Gold speaker. Every amp in the
series uses two 12AX7 preamp
tubes - reliable and easily
accessible for service. All
Pubsters and Clubsters are built
with full plywood cabinets,
welded zinc-plated steel
chassis, audiophile-quality
components, and military-grade
construction. Pubsters and
Clubsters come with a
footswitchable Accutronics
3-spring mechanical reverb, and
a 2-function footswitch is
provided at no extra cost.
The features don't end there.
Around back, an effects patch
loop is provided along with an
external speaker jack and a line
output for recording or P.A.
feeds. Like all Rivera amps, our
power cord is detachable and
easy to replace.
Pubsters
are easy-to-use
channel-switching amps with a
single 3-band EQ section. A
footswitchable boost with
its own gain
control,
as well as a second master
volume to regulate the level,
let you go from a clean rhythm
to a fat lead solo at a tap of a
toe.
Clubsters have two completely
independent preamp channels,
each with its own EQ. section.
Channel 1 is a high-gain channel
with 3-band EQ and a switchable
gain boost, and Channel 2 is a
clean channel with 2-band EQ and
enough gain and headroom to
overdrive the power amp when
needed - or keep it sparkly
clean.
Dialing up clean and distortion
tones has never been easier.
From Mississippi Delta Blues to
Birmingham Steel Rock to
Nashville Clean, your tone is
home with our Pubster and
Clubster series.
Even
though these new models are the
most affordable Rivera models
yet, each one of these is more
than professional enough to use
for serious working musicians.
Using a pair of Clubster or
Pubster 25 amps in stereo,
placing them on a risier or even
a pair of stools, allows you to
cut even the most demanding
small
club gig.
For recording, Pubsters and
Clubsters can do the job well.
Utilizing good micing technique
in recording situations,these
small packages of excellent tone
will lay down great sounding
tracks. You can also use the
Pubster and Clubster amps to
power an external Rivera 412
cabinet, allowing you to record
stack sounds easily.
Casuals like a wedding or party
could not be any easier, due to
the compact size, low weight,
and abundance of fine tone.
With our new 25 models, we are
using the legendary 6V6GT Tubes
for a fat and sweet output stage
overdrive character. We're proud

Class A
amplifier, the Venus™ 6.
Designed
with magnificent tone and cool running
in mind, this new amplifier embodies the
Rivera ideal of fabulous sound with
outstanding reliability.
All of
the heat producing key components of our
new Venus™ 6 amplifier have been mounted
on a industrial sized heatsink and are
on the outer surface of the chassis.
The
USA made transformers are oversized and
are rated for at least double the power
output of the Venus 6.
Rivera
is the first to make a small idle
current adjustment possible with the
Class A circuit, allowing a wider range
of tubes to be set to the correct idle
current, again, assisting in reliability
and field maintenance.
Featuring a five 12AX7 tube preamp
configuration with two independent
Channels, each with it’s own
footswitchable boost.
Channel 1 is a high gain and British
inspired lead channel. Gobs of sweet
sustain and loads of crunch can be
dialed up easily. Channel 2 is a
Rhythm and Blues channel, with a the
best of classic 60’s American tone.
Additional eq options include a bright
switch and a selectable midrange notch.
Long
pan Accutronics Reverb that is tube
followed fills in the palette of tones
with that sweet and spanky sounding
delay.
An
assignable and footswitchable effects
loop that is fully buffered allows the
interfacing with almost any kind of
outboard effects device.
Coupled with a Class A Power Amplifier
that is energized by 6V6GT (4) Tubes,
this 35Watt RMS amp has enough headroom
to cut most gigs, and with a fat bodied
warmth that breathes like a Goddess of
love that it is. 6V6GTs are well
known to have spectacular tone, and
excellent reliability, rivaling the
classic yet unstable EL-84. A Vintage or
Modern switch allows selection of full
or half output power levels.
This
is also the debut of the newly released
Celestion G12-Heritage 30 in a Rivera
Combo amplifier. Available in a 1-12” or
2-12” Combo configuration with Celestion
G12-Heritage 30 speakers, or as a Top.
Extension cabinets are available in
1-12” and 2-12” open back, 2-12” Closed
Back, and 4-12” slant and straight
models.
Standard colors are pearl white with a
vintage gold grille, or Black with a
vintage gold grille. Optional colors
include Ruby Red, Cobalt Blue, Palomino,
and British vintage green.

Below Summer for input and
feedback when developing and
refining the Knucklehead Series.
Besides days and nights of
laborious engineering time, our
extensive testing and tuning
included actual recording
sessions. Joe Barresi, one of
Hollywoods top recording
engineers and long time Rivera
friend was instrumental in the
development. Many of his
recording engineer colleagues
like Ross Hogarth, Sylvia
Massey, and Ross Robinson were
tapped as well for their
expertise. They helped make the
Knucklehead Reverb the most
anticipated and well received
Rivera amp ever.
With such a broad spectrum of
talent and tastes involved in
the development, 4 different
versions are in production. For
fans of mass distortion we offer
our 55W or 100W 6L6GC models.
For players requiring more
articulation and attack, our 55W
or 100W EL-34 models will no
doubt please them.
